Roundtable
El Capitan’s Roundtable is held the second
Thursday of each month at the LDS Church on 10212 Stanford Ave. (near Brookhurst
St.) at 7 pm. Come join us and take back some vital information to your units
about our camps and fundraisers that are coming up!
Schedule Your Friends of Scouting Presentation Today!

of Scouting is more important now than ever. With United Way cutting our
funds we need all units and families to participate in our Friends of Scouting
giving campaign. Please e-mail me or give me a call at 714-546-4990
ext. 101 letting me know when
your Blue and Gold dinners and Court of Honors are. These are the best
times to give families the opportunity to donate to a great cause. Remember
that without your support the Boy Scouts and your boys won’t
benefit from the opportunities Scouting brings them.
Friends of Scouting Presenters Needed
If you are interested in joining the Friends of Scouting team, please be
a presenter! We need people to schedule FOS presentations with all our units.
Each presenter would have three units they would be in charge of scheduling
and then delivering a FOS presentation. If you think you don’t have
the experience to be a presenter...we have made the process easier to follow.
The Council has developed a video that will be shown at each of the presentations. This
will assure that all of our units are getting a uniform message. If
